guests veiwing the forum?

When I click the link at the bottom that shows the number of guests, none of them view the G.A.W. thread. Is this because they are all just following a google search and only see what the topic is they were searching?

It's just weird seeing the threads they are viewing. Some I haven't seen.

More chances for the few that joined in I guess.

That could indeed be part of it, xj.....some 'opportunists' are low enough in virtue to join a forum merely to take advantage of a a generous member's good graces and intentions.     For that reason alone, many people stipulate a minimum number of posts for a new member to be able to participate in their giveaways.  If that type of individual would happen to get lucky and win the a giveaway that is NOT post-number specific you rarely, if ever, hear from them again. Lowlifes! >:(

This is most likely. Every time a new post is added, the search engines have to catalog it.

Yeah the bots haven't gotten to the level of AI yet so we are able to block most of them from joining using registration questions. In another ten years, who knows what they will be capable of.
