my first stiching pony

i was told to get one cause it would make things easyer.
so i lokked at the jantz catalog and it was 29'99 plus s&h.
so i lokked at the picture in the catalog. and built one in less than a hour.
no waiting neer 10;days, anyhow ill try to get a photo out of it.
the wood is old oak and the base pine.

sounds good, I need one but keep putting it off. I just go sit in the lazyboy an do my stiching

That brings back memories of a wooden vise we had in the barn. It was huge 12" wide and 3' tall. It had a black iron pipe handle with a 1" diameter threaded dowel  to cinch it down. Very well greased and worked great for just about anything.

Nice work putting that together. Taking the time now will save hours later. Time well vested!
