Madmax, Max and I had a very relaxing time.  The weather was perfect.

Mannlicher:
I was down in the Villages  cooking for a bunch of retired LEO on Wednesday.  I would have much rather been camping.   :)
The place you were camping looks very familiar.

Yeah.  I figgered you'ld recognize it.  Fairly clean.  It had rained for 2 days before.  The roads were iffy for 2 wd's.  So we went here.

More pics.

This and sunrise are favorite times of day.

A little striker practice on natural tinder.

Max found his "nest" under the food table and in the shade.

Peach cobbler in the D.O.

Great relaxing camp.

April, Friday the 13th, a Winter Storm WARNING with 8-12 inches of snow & 50 mph winds predicted for tonight and tomorrow here in NEBRASKA......and you guys are cooking ears of FRESH SWEET CORN on a campfire in the middle of a tropical paradise?  There's something wrong here!!

Looks like a great area and relaxing place to be.

At present we are just below freezing and it is snowing hard.  3"  down and 5" or so to go.  Should quit about 6PM tonight.

Thanks for sharing what, to me, looks like life on another planet.
