recient wood finds

lately i've run across some really nice black ash and black walnut.
one piece of blk,ash is 8'in,diax7'ft some of the blk,walnut is the same
measurement, though some pieces of walnut are up to 14'in dia and may feet long.
will try to post some photos today and tomorrow.

the slabs you see are from blk'walnut
i also have some beams of walnut, i got reciently
from a buddy.

these last photos are of black walnut slabs I found at the tree dump.
because of my crappy camera the photos don't do the wood justice.

yesterday i just harvested finally some
boxelder burl, and when i cut into the tree
the whole center was rotted out for about 7feet in hight.
when the owner saw the tree was so rotted,
he'd mentioned he would like to cut the whole thing down,
when i got the two pieces home i about squealed like a stuck pig.
cause unlike the other tree this one is BURL l'm going to post asap
a few of the pieces l cut up last night. so keep an eye on thls thread
lt's gunna get good, really.
oh an btw the guy said i can have the whole thing
it dont get better than that,
