Youtube Video Embedding?

Has the youtube embedding option been gone for a while? 

Is there a way to embed it or do you just have to post the hyperlink?

Been a while since I've put one here, but if I recall correctly, just copy and paste the web address and the video shows.

This was a simple paste the web address into the post and it works. I believe we used to remove the "s" in the beginning https: to make the video post.

I'm going to try that simple paste. I've been adding the [ youtube ] and [ / youtube ] (w/o the spaces) tags on either end. It's a PITA.

I just hit 'Share' & 'Copy Link' on YouTube and then came over here to 'Paste'....just like I always have in the past. :shrug:    Seems to work OK for me and the iPad anyway. ???

I didn't even do the share > copy thing. I just copied the address from my address bar and pasted it straight into the text window here.
