I haven't heard that in a long time, maybe 40 years.

I'm not sure what is just the right term: maybe metaphysics, psychologically 🍄🤖administered opinion

It is not easy to accept or enjoy a music genre without accepting the ground claimed by said genre. Whether through claiming or direct experience. That's why yo mamma told you to turn that record down- that ain't music

I don't think I've got a metaphysics, psychologically administered opinion on this. I just like it. The Telephone man from 1977 was a  Novelty hit for Meri Wilson. Her telephone man changed jobs and became a "Peter the Meter Reader", but that song didn't do as well.
If you liked Chuck Berry's song, this one will make you smile too.

First time ever hearing telephone man. no opinion...
