Supper tonight included first asparagus of this Spring.

Supper tonight was roasted red potatoes, pork chops, and the first wild asparagus of the year.  Twas quite good.

You're not going to believe this, but that's EXACTLY what we had tonight.....'cept we had pork steak instead of the chops.  I love grilled pork steaks this time of year......especiall y when there are morels and asparagus to accompany them! :drool:

It has been a long time since I had fresh morels.  None around these parts that I know of.  Asparagus is abundant due to the rain but the critters will get it soon.

That looks great!  Man, it's been since the 70's that I've had morels.  None in FL.  But there are in NC.  Maybe we can hit the season up there next year.  Kelly would love hunting morels.
At least it's not a femur through the pelvis.
