Adjustable Grip Hitch
This knot slides along the standing end.
When tension is applied it locks into place.

I was sitting at the kitchen table sharpening a knife when I went to the forum.  Tony this is another really good knot for fumble fingers like me.  The tutorial is simple to follow and the resulting knot is really easy to adjust and holds tight.  It is one I can use to tie stuff on my motorcycle and  it will be a good tarp knot when covering equipment and hay bales.  Thanks.

When I saw the thread title I immediately thought of this knot  http://bladesandbushlore.com/index.php?topic=11234.0  which I use for the same purpose.  That doesn't mean it is better....just different.  I just tied this new one in my EDC Pocket Knot Kit (a 4' length of paracord) and got it on the first try....works as advertised. THANK YOU!
