Been busy
« on: March 04, 2021, 05:01:38 AM »
Decided to spend more time doing and less time on the web.

Got out for a winter outing, that was cool.

Picked up a neat pre-woodsman colt 22.

All geared up to try out my trade gun, waiting for 50 degree temps.

Glad to hear that.  Also glad to see you're back just to report.

We are turning into air rifle fanatics.

I always thought the pre-woodsman Colt semiautos influenced Ruger's design of the Mark I .22 pistols. I read somewhere that Bill Ruger said it did.  I looked at a few photos of them when you posted this.  I had forgotten that it was designed by Browning in 1905.

A lady I knew had two Woodsmans, both new and unfired.  The fit on that slide to the frame was so good you could just barely see the line between the two pieces.  Always wanted one but never got there.

laudable, and congratulations.  I recently picked up a Colt Challenger, the less expensive and less desirable of the Colt .22 semi pistols.
