I'd say that looks a wee-bit better than the original.  Too bad you were too lazy to do it yourself, Red. Then you could be chopping with it right now.  LMAO
Is there such a thing as too many knives?

LOL!!! actually, my new pack mate was donated to me by Half Axe here:

i already have my chopper from him, and my trailmaster clone. sadly, im not one of those guys that can have 6 knives and only use 1.. i use them all or they get sent down the road :P

Thanks guys. Just took a little sanding and polish. I kinda like the slimmer handle. May hold out on the rehandle job for awhile. Chops like a dream and stays razor sharp. Thanks again Red!!

Upon this a question arises: whether it be better to be loved than feared or feared than loved? One should wish to be both, but, because it is difficult to unite them in one person, it is much safer to be feared than loved.

Red...you got ripped off

Nice work Trent.  I never even thought the person who got it would use the same scales on it.  Nice save.  Hope it serves you well.

Hope this inspires some to never give up on those handles. There is always something purdy in there somewhere! Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I will be kicking myself for not jumping on that one for a long, long time. good job dude. that's a nice knife.
I like a thin handle on a big chopper, makes snap cuts easier, IMO

I was going to say that's the nicest micarta I've ever seen, being that it's g10 is even more impressive, because I don't usually like the looks of g10. Real nice job Trentu.
