New knives in the forge.
« on: May 25, 2012, 03:25:10 AM »
Hello everyone.

I want to show you pictures of some new knives, The Junge and the Big Scout.
These knives are cut and have the pre grind of the blade, are ready to forge.

The Jungle is not new but now is made in high-carbon steel O1 (previously made in D2), a Jungle is a knife very robust and prepared for all the hard work on the field.
For the new Jungle I chose the O1 steel because it is very easier to sharpening , for the user in the field it is very important to have an easy sharpening knife.

The Big Scout is a larger version of the Scout, is made from high carbon steel O1, 5mm thick and 260mm long, is a simple and robust knife, a great help for any field work.

These knives will be available in the next week.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Those are heavy duty looking blades can't wait to see them finished.

Handle in sandwich Micarta, two different sandwich: brown and black; blue, red and black.

I do not know yet for sure, because I have not done, but I think more or less 145 USD knife + sheath.
But I still have to make the sheath, I want to make a beautiful sheath for the knife but I'm still thinking what I do.
But at the end of this week I'll be all set.

(edit) sorry I had to edit the price because the above price was just the price of the knife.
