PetrifiedWood:
well I figured I should start a "news" thread, for lack of a better term. This is just going to be an informal area where I make updates as to what's going on in and out of the shop.

I'm working on a new design for a 4" blade. I'm calling it the "Intrepid".

This one is going to have flat, removable scales. Below is a preliminary concept sketch I made. The actual knife will differ somewhat. I'm shooting for a tang extension in the back this time as well. These knives are all going to have micarta or G10 scales on them.

I'll keep updating this thread as time allows.

Nice looking concept right there! :)

GrowlingBear:
I like it PW.  Is there a reason for removable scales?  Just curious.

None in particular. I just wanted to try something different. :)

Though Red and I have been tossing some ideas around for a hollow tang knife like the now discontinued HEST.

GrowlingBear:
Cool.  You need to make something like the old Chris Reeve one-piece knives.  'Cept a bushcrafty style blade maybe.  You are "Turning" Outdoors after all.  LOL.
