I like the look of the "hammered", or "peened" look of the spine/backbone of the knife. ( I'm not sure of the correct name of the finish along the spine..? so I used the ones I thought might be appropriate.)
The scales go great with the red liners & the white scales. Although I would not like to have those colors, myself, on a knife I took to the woods. ( I prefer more subdued colors that help blend in. ( Think "hunting & camouflage. Although white/red would work in wintertime, & snow) I would be afraid if I had it with me in the snow I would not be able to find it.. LOL
That profile & handle combination is a good pair also.. I think it has "smooth transition. What some would call , "smooth lines".
It is beautiful!. If I did not have the one I rec'd from you, that I hope to last me the rest of my life, I would order one of these I think.
Perhaps I still will, can't have too many fine knives, can one?
