Thanks for this vid!
I always thought the figure-8 knot was better for drop loops than the "drop-loop knot" because it was stronger, and more easily untied. I even use it for whipping the end of a rope just to keep it from fraying, rather than just a simple overhand knot.
Don't bother walking a mile in my shoes. That would be boring. Try spending 30 seconds in my head. That will freak you right out!!
