Condor Awesomeness
« on: February 10, 2013, 09:19:47 AM »
While battling insomnia (again) one night, I found a pretty great deal at knifecenter.com.  They had a few blue handled models on sale for $15 so i said what the heck.  Ended up with 3 of these.

They accidentally sent me a black handled one!  (Sweeeeeet!)

Well guys and gals, color me impressed!  These all came w a very usuable edge and with some strop time youll have a foot long razor blade!  Sheaths are way nice...straps fit really tight so it takes some work to get them snapped, but that is better than the straps being a lil too long.
My back is thrashed so no woods time with the yet.  But i am sure they will do well.  I am so happy with this purchase, just thought id share!

Its the "eye of the condor" not to be confused witht the "eye of the tiger" :D. Purely ornamental and a TM of condor.  I guess you could use it the same way a hole in a cleaver is used...to hang it on a hook...

I didn't see where ya tell us the name of the knife, Anubis, so I had to go look it up. LOL It is a heckuva deal to get the Mountain Camp knife & the sheath at that price.

I brought the link, I think it is the right one:

I love being out in the woods!   I like this quote from Mors Kochanski - "The more you know, the less you carry". I believe in the same creed, & think  "Knowledge & honed skills" are the best things to carry with ya when you're out in the wilds. They're the ultimate "ultralight" gear! ;)
