Just wanted to thank upthecreek for the trade on the  hatchet damn nice piece  will work  good for me  doing the carvings thanks again  buddy. The hook knife I got from a friend  for a spoon I am carving  for her  off  another site and the knife is also a trade from  someone else little kernshaw

Looks like you got a nice hatchet there Easy!  I think you might need to start making larger spoons with that bad boy. LOL.
Is there such a thing as too many knives?

That  was sorta the plan to want a dedicated carving hatchet for  making bigger stuff. It is a purdy  little thing ain't she? :D

I love the looks of that style of axe/hatchet head, not sure of the correct name for it though.   I could SO go broke..........

I know  it's more of a hewing hatchet but it  works as a carver the way it's beveled on both sides :D
