My favorite cozy is still one that shows a sinking canoe with about 7 people in it.  It reads:

"Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers."

But the one I wear a lot, and the one that generates the most comments reads:

"I'm retired, and you're not. Neener, neener"

Thinking on this a while I realized why I couldn't post.

I am a stereotypical "Deplorable" and very non-PC.

My favorite coffee cup says: "You may all go to Hell and I will go to Texas"   This is a quote from Davy Crockett when he lost his government job.
I guess he'd rather be in Colorado.

OLP I read it without a mirror...the font backwards messed me up enough it took three tries on my dumbphone but i did it... probably has something to do with the fact that when I was a youngin they still taught us cursive and penmanship! Of course mine sucks now that I no longer practice penmanship much.

My penmanship is fine. Maybe it's because I write so many checks to debtors! Grrrrrrr......

I hope I didn't incur any debt lately to anyone here please let me know if I did lol I'll make it right.

I hear you there BTW I'm often much too patient etc with such situations in my own life. But, that's life. I just tell myself to GTFoI cause God wouldn't want me to be bitter or only do kindnesses if I can profit from it or be recognized for it in some way. Which is why I now feed homeless veterans and homeless in general (Myself). I don't trust NGOs, FBOs, etc etc to do it for me. I'd rather do it myself for someone who I may never see again cause they might not wake up tomorrow.

Me too. I did once out of need buy a overly priced starbuck travel mug; everytime i use it i feel used, they should be paying me to use it. The same goes for expensive shirts with the logos, shoes, or any other piece of clothing. I had to replace the windsheild in my f-250, they asked if i wanted the more expensive one that had super duty on the top, it was an extra 50 buck, i declined.

Having said all that, i really like old philospher's shirt, just not old enough to wear it yet.

I have quite a few Sturgis Rally T shirts.  Useful as shop towels after they get worn a few times.

Since I wear bibs most of the time, what would be the point?    Even if I didn't, most tees with graphics don't come with pockets and I'm a pocket-freak. :coffee:

Reading glasses get crushed in pants pockets.  Pens and pencils poke you in the leg in pants pockets.

Try reaching for something in your pants pocket when you are crawling under a house, it is maddenly difficult. To reach into a side pocket from a point where your arms are in front of you ( because you are belly crawling) you have to twist the side of your torso and lift up. However you can only go so high because the floor joists are so low. The entire process is an ordeal. Having a shirt pocket or two in the case of a long sleeve, allows me to carry a cell to call the boss, a back up flashlight which is VERY important when you are crawling under a house (trust me i know from person experience) and a pad and pen to take down notes and measurements.

Climbing under buildings just plain sucks.

I agree with 'Bean about fishing stuff out of pants pockets under those conditions.  But if I need to crawl under my mobile, I have a long sleeved shirt on with cuffs buttoned, and the collar, too!  Coveralls on top of that, and a watch cap.  (Did I mention I'm an arachnophobe?)

T-shirts with logos are not meant to be worn in crawl spaces.  There's no audience there, anyway.  They're meant to be worn to the bar, shopping, BBQs, and any other social gathering where a suit and tie is over-kill.
