I remember the find, just didn't know if it stayed on! Takes steel balls to use a knife that $.

No, I don't think you were here when I got this one. I got this one directly from Rob, then sold the other 2 I had on ebay. I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure you haven't seen this one in person yet...

Something we will need to remedy soon ;)

Yeah, the one I saw I think was from eBay. Sounds awesome, we need to remedy soon. I'm in Winter Springs now, maybe 10-15 minutes away!

Redneck Knives woodlore, convex grind with natural micarta and red liners.  Sheath was made and gifted to me by Dano :)

That knife looks even better out in the woods, where it belongs.....too bad Red said, "Never again!"   Those darker halos around the bolts are really an unintended plus, IMHO.  I like the sheath, too......Dano's leatherwork is second to none.   He surprised me with one for my dad's old Brusletto hunting knife after it had been discovered in an old tackle box & cleaned up.   He's an artist in cow skin & wields that basket-weave stamp like a master!   You've got a gem To be proud of in that pairing, OE!

Hokey doodle, that's a NICE package right there!

What else would a guy ever need or want?!? (Besides, well, more like it!) ;)

GREAT looking sheath! Dano is definitely one talented (and generous, it seems!) guy!

All around, winner!

I bought this knife, my very first and one of very few custom knives I own, in 1987.  I've skinned a heap of deer with this thing.  I did have it rehandled in Honduran Rosewood recently.  ATS-34 steel.  Larry Page is the maker and he's still making knives today.  He was taught knife making by George Herron whose influence on this knife and others Larry makes is clearly seen if you're familiar with Herron knives.

I'm familiar with George Herron's knives.....I always liked their looks, but never owned one.  His influence certainly shows in Page's work.   VERY nice knife, Nuke!

Darn nice creek!  Is that your original cleaned up, or a new one?  I seriously can't tell.  Nice set

Dude, your knife was done the Monday after I got it. I just have been dragging my feet getting it back to you, because I wanted to send it back with those D2 folder blades I haven't cut out yet... Want me to send it to you? I will totally send it to you :D
