B&B leather patch & backpack Mod.
« on: September 02, 2013, 05:56:31 PM »
I bought this pack last year new for $27.00 I think. Anyway wanted to make some changes and finally getting started. first it was tan and I wanted OD. So bought a bottle of Rites liq, forest green, let it soak and here's the before and after.
Also did a leather patch backing, still need to sew on not sure where to place it.

Also playing with the ideal of sewing on some of my past duty patches, not sure about adding these.
My plans are to replace all straps with leather and brass hardware add extra rings and more straps to bottom and sides. I'll post as I make progress. Heres a few more shots and one of another bag I'll do some copy from along with frost river packs.

This photo I copy off the net and will use some of these ideals

more to come

I like it too! I dig older gear cause it's hard to improve on stuff that works so good. I might add that it doesn't match your hair nor skirt too good!!

LOL, well she makes a good model, and she puts up with me, think I'll keep her. ;)

Thanks Jimmy, but I think I'll only use the ones I was stationed at. Thinking, I'll pass it on to one of the grandkids. Grandson, Alex is a big Military nut.
