  It's a great stove.

   You can get it with or without the ash pan. I find that the ashpan doubles as a makeshift cutting board pretty well, too. Or, you can use just the walls of the stove as a windscreen for an alcohol stove or esbit tablets.

   It is not ultralight or anything, especially with the ashpan, but you never have to carry fuel or worry about running out of fuel, or worry about mechanical failure, or altitude issues, or temperature issues.
