Out on the water today
« on: March 15, 2014, 11:38:39 PM »
I got out on the water with a friend on Saturday. We went to Cherokee Lake and fished for a few hours. It was a bit chilly in the morning but warmed up to about 50 degrees by noon. Surface temp was 47 degrees; it is usually warmer than that by mid-March. I got one bite on a Carolina rigged lizzard. I came unhooked befere I got it to the boat. Slow day but at least I was outside.

A bad day fishing beats a good day doing most anything else :) Glad you got out. There's some pretty country in those parts.
