Last knives of the year.... I started these two a while ago but they've been on the back burner. I was able to work on them yesterday and today.
This one is finished. It is Fallkniven S1 influenced. No sheath yet; I'll probably make one similar to the leather S1 sheath.

It's O1 steel, 1/8" thick, about 5" blade, half flat grind, homemade canvas micarta, stainless 3/16" pins and an aluminum lanyard tube. Blackened the blade in a vinegar bath.

First time I've used a liner. Not much contrast. I shoulda used another color.
This Bowie is not quite finished but I went ahead a tool a pic. Probably won't get to work on it for a day or two.

Also O1, 1/8" thick. Blade is about 6". Scales are Bocote with 1/8" brass pins. I made the guard from bar stock, that was a first. Not perfect but turned out okay.

Wood turned out well...I think. Still needs a little work and some Tru-oil.
Thanks for looking!
