Great  :canoe: trip, lots of good woodsmanship, an enthusiastic young student with knowing mentors, and a nice piece of music to go along with it.......a wonderful start to my day!

Very Nice! Always great to see folks going out with their youngsters & teaching skills.

I really liked that you showed us the duck & ducklings. That was pretty neat to see them go thru your campsite without being alarmed, with mama duck watching.
 :)

Nice haul of chaga, too!

Did you eat the fish? It looked like a nice meal to share amongst you.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us!
 :D
I love being out in the woods!   I like this quote from Mors Kochanski - "The more you know, the less you carry". I believe in the same creed, & think  "Knowledge & honed skills" are the best things to carry with ya when you're out in the wilds. They're the ultimate "ultralight" gear! ;)

I watched it late but that was a good vid.  Great outing!  Bet your boy loved it and won't forget it.
