SUP on Nantahala River NC
« on: August 01, 2014, 05:08:35 PM »
After over 3 decades of paddling this river I'm still looking forward to the next run.  Or standing knee-deep with a flyrod catching trout.  Or chilling out with some old and/or new friends watching the action at playspots.  Great place to hang out in the heat of summer.

You look like you've been doing that all your life Max!!  Like Zammer, I was wondering how your knee is holding up, but I'm guessing pretty well.

With me being a flatlander, that looks kinda intense- glad to see you're sporting a brain bucket

I was also wondering what sup?

Thanks guys.  Knee's ok.  Still need surgery.  I truss it up to paddle.

My equipment.  Nobody in their right mind would rent Sup's for whitewater.  We fall regularly and southeastern WW  rivers are typically rocky.  Most wear elbow, arm, knee, and shin pads.  A few have padded shorts that are a good idea.

I was also wondering what sup?

Me.  I'm always up.  Sharp and clear.  100%

You're pretty hardcore. I've been wanting to do that river for a while now.of course I was planning on a river raft. We gotta do a trip up there someone.

It is that buddy, it is that.

This is  my home lake, the Walchensee.

If you like I have various little immersive vids with me paddling there. Just can't get enough...
