Kephart Inspired Knife
« on: August 16, 2014, 09:55:38 AM »
For a long time I wanted an homage piece to Kephart, but to include some of the things that were personal to me. So, this is the result

8.5" OAL
Desert ironwood Handles to represent where I live?the southwest
Mosaic pins
Stainless ATS34... I won't own a knife unless it is stainless
Deep Scandi grind

It is definitely not a user... never intended it to be, so it is still a virgin as the day I received her. Not even a single paper slice.

That's a beaut! Really nice. Congrats on owning such a fine blade.

I really dig the handles shape. Looks like a user though she may rust on ya for making her a drawer queen. She is pretty.

Very pretty! Ironwood is one of my favorites. It looks beautiful without needing any stain or other treatment. And it's a very hard and durable material.

I can verify that it is a Diving Sparrow. I remember when Abe finished that up for Alan.  I had a DSWK until just recently and let me tell you, it took a lot get pry it out of my hands.
