Hammock suspension tip

I saw this on Facebook from, Will Adams bushade, and thought it was a cool tip for hammock suspension.

He is using a m12 titanium washer as a connecting point between suspension, hammock, and ridgeline. The washer he claims acts well as a drip ring.

That's a good idea, but it looks like it would be pretty rough on the cordage, too. :shrug:
