Single Strand Star Knot

The single strand star knot can be used to make anything from a 5 point zipper pull

to a multi-pointed star I made to frame small photograph.

Here is how it is done

I like the design of the one on top.
:)
I love being out in the woods!   I like this quote from Mors Kochanski - "The more you know, the less you carry". I believe in the same creed, & think  "Knowledge & honed skills" are the best things to carry with ya when you're out in the wilds. They're the ultimate "ultralight" gear! ;)

Cool! Looks like you removed the inner strands for the top one.

Might make a nice surround for a magnifying lens if you could use leather lace to tie it.

That's a cool alternative to a flattened Turk's Head.
