Just and inquire not a dedicated purchase item (yet).

What would be the cost of a 5" blade like this with a scout style sheath + fire-steel loop ?

Similar to this sheath, right?

Yep like that.  I prefer my belt knife horizontal, right hand carry along my back on the belt with a thumb snap.

I tend to wear two belts, one for my pants that also has my zippo on it.  And a outer belt over my mid layer and maybe even over my outer layer with my fire kit, knife, multi-tool.
Mostly because I'm probably crazy and I use a telcom tool-kit all the time at work on a secondary belt so I'm used to it.

Hmm time to start putting money in the coffee can again.

Side note: You are the only person I know, who says, or has shown, that they use an outer/secondary belt, like a gunbelt, here at B&B, other than me. I thought I was the only one.

PS - Mario makes outstanding knives & sheaths. You wouldn't go wrong in saving those pennies & getting one from him, if you haven't already.

I was my grandpa's "little cowboy" and he was a real one in his twenties and that's how he showed me when I was knee high so I guess I never grew out of it.
He always said to keep the gun and pants belt separate if your going to wear them for days on end.  Easier to adjust things that way.

I also got the scout carry knife sheath thing from him but keep it at a angle to not hit the holster when you draw the knife.
I still wear a hip holster for my/his 1911 he wore in combat when deer hunting but any other time it's my little S&W revolver in a pocket to not scare the snowflakes.

~~

Yea I'm going to have to start saving up.  I want a fallkniven s1 and then one of those in 5".
