Great bunch of photos Crash.  There is one above the photo of Crazy Horse where a river runs out of a canyon and there are green trees in the far ground.  Where is that place?

I live east of Devils Tower about fifty miles  and now I don't have to go take photos of those places again thanks to you.  Good photo of Spearfish falls in the canyon and I like the close up at Rushmore a lot.

You saw some great country.

Those are GREAT PHOTOS and I think I've been to all of those vantage points over the years....starting with family vacations and continuing to the present.  I couldn't identify the spot in the picture that Stan mentioned either.....don't recall ever seeing that particular spot.

That shot was taken on the way from Cody to Yellowstone.

I was surprised to see blue skies in the majority of those photos.    The last time we were in and around the Teton/Yellowstone area the smoke from the Left Coast forest fires was so bad you could barely see the top of Mount Moran!  :(

Our first day in Yellowstone (came in on the east side) we were greeted with temps in the 30's, blowing snow and winds gusting to 75.  I stood on the shore of Yellowstone lake and thought if I only had a dry suit, wind surfer and really small sail.

Thanks for noting where that canyon is.  I almost bought a place in Wapiti twenty years ago but opted for South Dakota instead.  Often wonder how living in the country around there would have turned out.  We looked in Thermopolis, Meteetse, Powell, Greybull, Cody, Wapiti, up the South Fork, and places in between.  I would probably have wasted all my time at the Museum.  :P
