I'll be picking up a mess of 16" Kevlar protective sleeves on Friday.  I expect to blow them out at an unbelievable price.  These are great for added protection when clearing brush, axe work, sharpening tools, welding, black smithing, glass blowing (kevlar melts at 900 degrees F.) and generally any activity that exposes you to a risk of cuts, abrasions or burns.

These have a 16 inch length and come with a thumb hole. The cut-resistant arm sleeve is made of Kevlar with a cotton liner for comfort,

Neat!

These would be useful for knife makers, particularly when buffing the knife, as the buffer can sometimes grab it and throw it if you don't have a firm grip. Best way to buff knife blades is with a leather apron, heavy gloves, and a full face welding mask. These sleeves would be a good way to protect your arms as well.

Mike I definitely want 3 pairs. I get paid one the 30th. Is there a chance you could hold them until then? I'll get with you around income tax time to see, about a couple of moras and hopefully an official kabar!

Since you used the word digit instead of finger, the answer would be, your thumb.

Funny, because I cut my thumb yesterday loading these onto my truck.  Never stick your shaving sharp knife in your hand and forget you are holding it, but in all fairness to myself, it was 6:00 am, an ungodly hour for a civilized man to be awake.  ;)

They provided absolutely no protection while still inside the box.

Ordered them this past Friday, and they promptly arrived Wednesday just before I went to work! Wore a pair tonight. They are thicker in material and have a tighter weave than the sleeves we are provided at work. They fit well, don't bunch up and give my arms great protection! Thanks again for the great deal!

Just wanted to say that I received my pairs of sleeves and all I can say is wow! I actually took one and laid it onto a plastic cutting board. I then took my lovely Mora and proceeded to try and cut the sleeve. I ran the blade over the sleeve hard 3 times and it didn't even come close to cutting through it. These will definitely be getting a ton of use! Thank you for a great product!

Thanks Mike.  Seems like the older I get, the thinner my skin gets.  I am constantly cutting my arms while doing work or bushwhacking where in the past I would get barely a scratch.  These should save on band aids and antiseptic.
