Lesson of the Day.
« on: February 12, 2012, 05:50:45 AM »
No matter how bored you are do not tear apart a 100,000 volt stun gun and try to use it to build an apple cannon ignition source. I found out that the bright flash of light was not a camera flash and one cannot completely hold their bladder while being zapped.
I awoke to the laughter of my wife and son saying, "We told you to take the battery out!" I thought their tears were of saddness and concern but noticed they were also out of breath and holding their stomachs. I hate them!

Thanks for the heads up.

Sounds like you belong at one of the Florida meets with that stunt. LOL

Could you try it again with a video camera rolling?

Just for science you understand.

And just for future reference a piezo igniter for a gas grill works better for a potato or apple cannon without any bladder emptying side effects.
Upon this a question arises: whether it be better to be loved than feared or feared than loved? One should wish to be both, but, because it is difficult to unite them in one person, it is much safer to be feared than loved.

I do them that way but wanted to try something different. We all will be laughing about this one for awhile. LOL!!

I'd like to relate a story about a 1.3 amp/hour 7.2 volt battery and orthodontic braces, but the details are still fuzzy... :D

Man I almost lost bladder control over that one!  Sorry to hear about that one, glad you're ok!!

Back in the days of standard ignition on cars, we used to charge capacitors and then leave them laying around....that $h*t HURTS!!

Noted...spend the five seconds it takes to remove the battery from a stun gun before you start to take it apart.

This made me laugh my ass off.

I spit up my coffee when I read this and almost choked on it. Glad you're okay but next time let an in-law do it.
