Photobucket alternatives?

I'm having Problems with Photobuckets reliability. What else can I use?

imgur.com is easy, but not exactly private. Imageshack is another one. Flickr. Picasa.

No, you'll get them back when photobucket is back up. I've used photobucket for years and years, never lost a picture.

There may be a better alternative, but overall its hard to beat PB + they have been in the game for awhile now.

I use picturetrail.    When your done uploading you can get the link for forums and bring it over here.  YOu do not have to use the link button here in the post box.   Just paste it in.

Nope. I don't. I did a search on the site for it in the knowledge base but did not find anything on it. I could have missed it or they don't have it. If they don't have it yet, they probably will. All I know is they do have photos and videos. Super secure. Recommended by Forbes mag. They have this drop box that goes on your PC and all you have to do is move and drop a photo or video in that box or multiples and it will upload. Or you can upload the standard way with the web uploader. Organized by dates and photos have blog links among other sharing. Or you can organize by created folders and albums. I have not done a video there yet but will get around to it sometime. It has worked great for me since I have been there.

Another alternative is Panoramio. It's hosted by Google (same account info as gmail, etc.) and it interfaces with Google Earth, and Google Maps. You can manage your photo albums, and link them to place markers all over the world. For whatever that's worth...... :P

I use photobucket too. Love the speed of mobile uploads and easy posting. If you move a picture or change it to another folder the links quit working. If they stay in the same place they seem to stay up for years. I still have some old posts on the other site that still show. I see a ton of flicker images not available on multiple forums.

No help I know. I was hoping to see a better option myself but I think Photo Bucket is THE one...

So no recent problems using Photobucket? I was loving Photobucket and over night I was having problems. I'm using an iPhone and I realize my thumbs may hit the wrong spot but I was consistently screwed up. I really wasn't sure if it was me or not.

Last time I tried using it everything seemed okay as I was able to get some of my pics on a thread that got goobered up.

Specifically, I was having problems uploading from the iPhone and deleting from the Photobucket
pics/albums.

The pics on the thread disappeared because I moved the pics to an album. All my fault.

Wholely carp! Photobucket just did a major overhaul!
My jury's still out on this. I was lost for the first 30 seconds. Don't know if I like it, or not.
