Home made Alcohol stoves
« on: March 01, 2012, 08:42:20 AM »

There's been some interest shown by a few members lately about small Alcohol fueled stoves,  I've made quite a few that have turned out great, and they're a lot of fun to make and experiment with,  and they are a valuable piece of back up cooking gear to have available in your cook kit.

Not being equipped with the skills of posting videos or photos yet I can't make a tutorial showing how easy they are to make or the few tools needed to make them,  but perhaps if one of our members has the time, ability, and where with all to post such a tutorial i'm sure it would be a big help to those who haven't seen or used one and would like to add one to their kit.

  Thanks.

I don't have any homemade, but I do own a Minibulldesign Mini Atomic, a Batchstovez BS 2.0, and one of Zelph's Fancy Feasts. :)

Those minibull burners are neat. I wanted to try making something similar on the lathe but never got around to it.

You taking about his chicken feed ones? They are pretty cool.

I've been wanting one of his Elites (made from a Starbucks can) for awhile, but I keep getting outbid when he offers them, lol.

The Mini Atomic is from a Red Bull-ish can. Pretty light, very hot.
