Looking for experience based advice on adding a hand operated well pump. Well is 40 ft but needs cleaning out standing head water is about 10 ft. No lateral run as it will be back up for solar power which is in the works. Thought it would be a good time to add a pitcher pump. I've used them in the past but they were always existing and there was no other power.
Ideas? Brands? Suggestions?
