Box was stuffed as usual. Several pouches to make sure to look through. Here's the contents.

I took a stove and a pouch with a couple paracord bracelets.

I added a couple BSA trinkets, A neat etched Mora, a firesteel, a stove, and a couple chucks of chaga.

On to Pommie tomorrow.

Thanks for letting me play.

I wish I had stuff to trade. That Mora strikes me, is a particular way. I love it. Next time I'm gonna have to be in. Oh, and cute dog. I can totally seen my pack looking things over like that. :)

The box was waiting for me when I got home.
There are layers of goodies, pouches of goodies and bags of goodies.
But what's this!!
OMG!!!
My hands are shaking!
A knife that I absolutely love! The wifey saw it and asked me if I was going to keep it.
I replied that I didn't feel comfortable taking it.
Pommie, if this was meant for someone down the line, please let me know.

Ok, I'll get a new box, rearrange the best I can and add some goodies that will hopefully equate the knife value.
(BTW, the knife will be the only thing I'll remove).
I have a side job to do this evening, so I'll get the box out Wednesday.
Thanks for letting me participate again!

Sorry for the delay, and the lack of pics.
The box is in route to MNSportsman.
I took out the WCF Kephart, the candles, (they would not fit), and an arm band pouch thingie.
I put in a SpyderCo Sharpmaker kit, a Lansky puck, a nice strop, and a small tomahawk head.
Thanks for allowing me to participate again!

Box rec'd. And.. Quite the story about how things worked out... Back & forth & then... here... LOL
 :)

I have to do some Doctoring tomorrow about 45 miles away,, so it sits unopened until I return. I will take pics/vid when I do.

 :)

Try to get it out by the week end. Saturday likely... Monday at latest. Full documentation will be provided... Might need a new box, just based on the dents... unless I get the duct tape out.. Seems like someone didn't like the box as it traveled. LOL
 ;)

Anyway. in good hands, I assure ya.. & will be moved on in short order.
 :)

Glad it finally arrived!
And from the sounds of it, I guess someone didn't like the box...I packed everything back up in a new one! >:(

LOL I know ya sent it "new", it is likely that it just didn't get the treatment one would have expected... It did take a round about way to get to me...LOL
It isn't in real bad shape, but they seemed not have not been wearin kid gloves in the handling to get it here, after its "detour" before arriving to me.... LOL
Anyway... I will patch up the tear on one side & it should be fine, or I will just go get another new box if necessary.

No sweat to me. I am just happy it made it here with the detour BS.
;)

I will open it tomorrow morning. I had that Doctoring to do today & then the missus wanted to make a couple side stops to see the oldest son/DIL & grandboys, do some shopping & a trip to some old friends on the way back. So, I am  a bit tired & just need a little relaxation time tonite.

I will post up in the morning after I get some rest.

Sent today.  Track Number > 9505 5132 0006 6221 0115 42

Took some pics of before, during & after. Used same box after repairs. ( Postal dude even commented on the condition after such a short trip. LOL I had repair things with a different kind of tape & he asked....) Had a hard time repacking, making things fit right, even though I did not take out much & I could not even put in all I wanted to send.

Anyway, I will post pics either in this post or one to follow. It is on its way & should be there at about Thurs, I would guess.

Back later, once I get the pics figured out & uploaded.

Edit for the pics:

For some reason I can't get the damnn Photo bucket to let me edit & crop the pics down in size, so this is what ya get... :( )
Box damage( which I repaired with tape)

Pic of what I removed( I don't know why it is upside down & Photo bucket will not let me "edit" to fix anything.) :

Pic of what I added:

That box is stuffed with a lot of good stuff. It was very tight to get the top closed.

I am a bit frustrated with photo bucket. Maybe I come back tomorrow & fix things, maybe not. I can also tell what I took & what I placed.
When I am in a better mood.... Need to find another place to put photos.
:(

I feel.crappie doing this but I am going to have to bow out of the pay it forward box. Sorry. I have way too much going on in the family life right now. My dad is having some health issues, my mother in law was just diagnosed with lymphoma, as well as just the normal life of raising a 1.5 year old. Sorry. :-(

Time to start a new list...  or resend around again so that the ones in the beginning get to keep chain going. Would not bother me to see it go around again. If nothing else, maybe some folks would like to have a chance at some of the things placed after they had the box & then sent it off.

I suggest that we just send the box around & not add anything & just remove what ya think ya might use, & pass on the rest. Limit what ya remove so as to let others have a chance to remove something they may have passed on before. If ya want to add something, do so & if not. OK. I could have removed some more things to use, but was trying to make sure I added more than I removed, and I think that was everyones same thinking.  But let us try to make this work around again...

I am open for ideas, but I do think we should try to keep the ball rolling.

What say you other folks?

I didn't know I was on this go around. I just had the start up box.

Not sure it would be worth the $15 or so for a few items. Maybe everyone could "call dibs" on what they would  like from the box as is, then pay $5 shipping small flat rate box.

That would be a lot of work on the box holder though.

I wonder if a gift and get scenario would work. For example.

I would post a few items up for gifting. Someone would "call dibs" I would send a small flat rate to them, then in return receive a small flat rate box of unknown content.

The surprise factor would still be there. Any items in the surprise box not wanted, plus a few other items, could be offered up for someone else to call dibs on and so it goes again.

We could have a dozen boxes on the move at any time. No more than $10 spent on shipping. Knives would need a bigger box for example. There would be a flood of content being shared here.

I suggest an inventory or such. See what's in it and decide if it's worth it. We shouldn't ship it any more if the box is played out.
