In the southern rockies the valley remains dry this season so far but the mountains are accumulating more snow than in recent winters. Valley temps are more moderate than usual but no complaints.
when the kids were little we could cross country ski from the front porch accros the pasture and to the river several times a winter but not for a good while now. The river also froze solid enough to cross on foot but what passes for a river in the high desert is wide shallow and occasional in summer. Still water is always appreciated
Not complaining mind you just noting.
