worked in the shop today

I know it sounds lkie yaeh big deal.  but for me it is i hav'ent made a knife in three years
today i rehandled a brazillian bolo knife for someone, the handle was curly maple in med walnut stain.
mabey soon i can get back in and start a new knife project.

Sounds like a good way to ease back in...Keep it fun and do something you really want to do...otherwise it'll just be work and something else you have to do  :-\

I'm in about the same locale, hoss; got some ebony scales cut out for an old, old Russell lamb splitter, and as soon as I find some soft wire I'll pin it up and sand it down.  Don't need it; I've got a whole danged collection of collins machetes and some clones, but sittin' around not makin' nuthin' is gittin' a bit old.  Besides, with it 90+ outdoors, my garage/shop is the coolest spot on the place.
