I may not be smart enough to figure it out but is there an option to upload photos to the forum in a post? Or is it still just 3rd party embedding?

It requires a host service. I have been using Imgur and it is easy and fairly quick. If you need help with it I can walk you through it.

I too am an Imgur user. Works well, fairly easy to use and free.

I find it laggy and a pain. I have started paying the $5 /mo for photobucket. I wish I could batch download my photos I'd delete the account. It seems the navigation on Imgur changed since I started using it.
