The roots of somethings go way back. Here is some old cooking gear

This fairly intact kitchen cooking method was unearthed awhile back on a Greek island. It is 2500 years old according to the archaeologists who set it up.

Kind of neat I think.

That's a great idea.....one small fire with differing heat levels for different foods.  Wind protection is built-in with economy of fuel usage at the same time.

Why didn't I think of that? :shrug:  :P

 I like it, somebody with some basic metal working tools, a welding set, and a bit of talent could modify that idea into a right handy outdoor kitchen appliance and one heck of a conversation piece.
