like that, but with more depth. the maker, the specs, why you like it, what features it has that  you would like to see on other knives. i dunno, this board just seems so baron :(

I only have one of Infidel's PSK knives... Somewhere... In a box... I've been moving stuff around, setting up a work area, heh.

By chance, is this the same knife that was designed by poll over on the curiously named "Outdoor Survival Forum" some years ago?

Kind regards

I do not own a custom knife. Kinda wish I did, but I have been making due with what I have, & funds are not available for one at this time.

But I do enjoy seeing the ones that others have.
 :D
I love being out in the woods!   I like this quote from Mors Kochanski - "The more you know, the less you carry". I believe in the same creed, & think  "Knowledge & honed skills" are the best things to carry with ya when you're out in the wilds. They're the ultimate "ultralight" gear! ;)

G'day Redman

i cannot believe of all the members here, no one has a custom knife they want to show off. i know they are out there, lurking in safe's and drawers... time to blow the dust off and post em up!!!

I've got a total of four.  The first three continue to see extensive use.  The fourth, I received in the last 2 weeks. But with the blackberry season over here being on at the moment, my priorities for free time have been harvesting edibles.  Rest assured the fourth will get plenty of use once other seasonal commitments are bedded away.

I'm sure pics in this post are appreciated, so here's a couple...

First up is a knife that Chris (from C3) & I co-designed, called the SouthernCross Hunter, sitting on top of a pile of seasoned Aussie hardwood wood shavings that came from a carving project.

..... and another from a fly fishing trip for carp (the SC was used to humanly dispatch all carp caught on the trip).

Videos showing how it performs in a range of other tasks (including prising limpets off Coastal rocks for use as bait) can be seen here: http://www.c3knives.com/Mick_s_Corner_vids_pics.html

Next is a skinner model with Cocobola scales (also from C3 knives) ...

Videos showing how this one performs in a variety of tasks can also be seen here:
http://www.c3knives.com/Mick_s_Corner_vids_pics.html

BTW, videos & pics showing the third in use can be seen towards the end of the link posted above. Thumbsup.

The most recently arrived is the C3 Scandi model also with Cocobola scales. This one will see use once I have the time to put it through it's paces. thumbsup

I guess you can tell that I'm a fan of C3 knives & Cocobola scales.  :D

Kind regards
Mick
